Abstract
This study aims to point out that the compound word ŧopuķķoyun, which could be found in Hekim Bereket’s Ħulāśa has parallels with the compound word yüzükoyun that is used both in Modern Turkish and in historical texts, and analyses the etymology and the use of this structure in Anatolian Turkish.
Özet
Bu çalışmada, Türkiye Türkçesinde kullanılan ve Türkçenin tarihsel metinlerinde tespit edilen yüzükoyun birleşik sözcüğüne Hekim Bereket’in Ħulāśa adlı eserinde de rastlanan ŧopuķķoyun biçiminin paralel olduğuna dikkat çekilmiş, yüzükoyun üzerine daha önce yapılan etimoloji ve bu yapının Anadolu ağızlarındaki kullanımları üzerinde durulmuştur
