Abstract

This paper introduces a general goodness-of-t test based on the estimated Gini index. The exact and asymptotic distribution of the test statistic are presented. Then goodness-of-t tests for the normal, exponential, uniform and Laplace distributions are presented. The powers of the proposed tests under various
