Abstract
Crimean Tatars which came under the rule of Ottoman Empire in the IX. century of the hegira are descended from the Cuci Nation and during the struggles between the Ottomans and Safavids, Crimean Tatars organized an attack to Azerbaijan and Caucasus repeatedly with the ally of the Ottoman's capacity. They attacked Iran in the time of Shah Muhammad Hudabende most. These attacks continued during the reign of Shah Abbas I. However he was able to prevent their devastating attacks by establishing friendly relations with Ghazi Giray Khan who was the great khan of Tatars and creating a conflict between the Ottomans and the Crimean Khanate.
