AHP - PROMETHEE Method with Integration of Personnel Selection Problem: A Case Study for the Retail Sector

Abstract

To making personnel selection in human resources is an important decision. Suitable personnel selection for the job will be made is important both the companys future and for the personnels efficiency. To be recruited in this study, a company which is operating in the retail sector comes up a problem about sales consultant selection. To find in the solution of the problem analytic hierarchy process method and PROMETHEE sorting methods were used. Candidates who applied first, passed through preselection according to the implementation will be held corparate companys expectations. Taking account of the criteria determinated by experts in the company criteria are weighted with the analytical hierarchy process. In the last stage for screened candidates PROMETHEE sorting method has been used and the most suitable candidate has been selected

Özet

İnsan kaynaklarında personel seçimi çok önemli bir karardır. Yapılacak işe uygun personelin seçimi hem şirketin geleceği hem de alınacak personelin verimliliği açısından önemlidir. Bu çalışmada, perakende sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir firmanın satış danışmanı seçim problemi ele alınmıştır. Problemin çözümünü bulmak için analitik hiyerarşi süreci ve PROMETHEE sıralama yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. İlk olarak başvuru yapan adaylar, uygulama yapılacak kurumsal firmanın beklentilerine göre ön elemeden geçirilmiştir. Firmada uzman kişiler tarafından belirlenen kriterler dikkate alınarak analitik hiyerarşi süreci ile kriterler ağırlıklandırılmıştır. Son aşamada elemeden geçen adaylar için PROMETHEE sıralama yöntemi kullanılmış ve en uygun aday belirlenmiştir
