Abstract
The interrelation between metals, pottery and glass interms of form and decoration, resulted with the production of similar objects. Within these context, the figured handles of the pottery krater dating back to the 13th century B.C. seem to be the earliest representative of such figured decorations. In many cases the glass industry imitates the fine metal ware and adds to its own repertory. The Late Roman glass handle with figured application in the collection of Edirne Museum is can be regarded as one of the examples of this practice.
