Bibliometric analysis of patient safety studies in Emergency Health Services

Abstract
Introduction and Objective: Emergency medicine is a health service area where time management is very valuable and patient safety is very important when it comes to the time of paradigm shift from the golden hour concept to the golden time concept. It is of great importance to evaluate the studies on patient safety in the discipline of emergency health services which are very complicated by its nature and to raise awareness on this issue. In this context, bibliometric analysis is the leading method for quantitative research. With the bibliometric analysis method, it is aimed to be able to present a scientific roadmap to all researchers and stakeholders and to provide a holistic and macroscopic perspective to the researched subject. Giriş ve Amaç: Acil tıp, “altın saat” kavramından “altın zaman” kavramına doğru paradigma kaymasının yaşandığı, zaman yönetiminin çok kıymetli, zamanla yarışırken hasta güvenliği konusunun ise çok önemli olduğu bir sağlık hizmeti alanıdır. Doğası gereği oldukça karmaşık olan acil sağlık hizmetleri disiplininde hasta güvenliği konulu çalışmaların incelenmesi ve bu konudaki farkındalığın artırılması ise büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu bağlamda uygulanan nicel araştırma yöntemlerinin başında ise bibliyometrik analizler gelmektedir. Bibliyometrik analiz yöntemi ile araştırılan konu ile ilgili tüm araştırmacılara ve paydaşlara bir bilimsel yol haritası sunabilmek, holistik ve makroskopik bir bakış açısı kazandırabilmek bu araştırmanın temel amacıdır.
