“İKİ BAŞINA YÜRÜMEK”: THE ANALYSIS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE REBIRTH ARCHETYPE OF BEHÇET NECATIGIL’S POEMS

Abstract
Behçet Necatigil, one of the most important poets of Turkish literature, wrote his first poem when he was in his high school years and had written many poems till 1979 when he died. Quite many studies have been done and his poem world has been analyzed in various aspects. Necatigil’s poems have been discussed from the point of the word framework and paths they contain; have been handled in the context of the various themes as notably the house theme, their folk literature components have been analyzed; they have been dealt in terms of the poet’s reception aesthetic of the poems; and in his poems, the effects of very different paths such as the sexuality, the depression to which the industrialization led, the mythological components have been traced. Necatigil’s poems in terms of its language, myths, legends, and folk narrations he referred present the rich data. Necatigil who had the command of both The West and The East mythologies used the mythological components in his poems and the archetypes accepted as being born from the myths in some of his poems. The rebirth archetype which forms the subject of our study finds its own place in his poems. While the rebirth archetype are clearly worked in some of his poems, it is dealt more implicitly in some of his poems. The rebirth archetype finds its place in the poems sometimes as a name, sometimes as an animal, and sometimes as a plant. This study aims to examine the aforementioned symbols. Since a lot of words have been told about the concept of the archetype; without mentioning about this subject, the reflections of the rebirth archetype will be looked in the poems by giving information about it in the study.

Türk edebiyatının önemli şairlerinden biri olan Behçet Necatigil ilk şiirini henüz lise yıllarındayken kaleme almış ve öldüğü 1979 yılına kadar çok sayıda şiir yazmıştır. Necatigil hakkında pek çok çalışma yapılmış, şiir dünyası çeşitli açılardan incelenmiştir. Necatigil’in şiirleri, barındırdığı kelime kadrosu ve izlekler bakımından tartışılmış; başta ev temi olmak üzere çeşitli temler bağlamında ele alınmış; halk edebiyatı unsurları incelenmiş; şairin şiirleri alımlama estetiği bakımından ele alınmış ve şiirlerde cinsellik, sanayileşmenin doğurduğu bunalım, mitolojik ögeler gibi çok farklı izleklerin izi sürülmüştür. Necatigil’in şiirleri arketipsel bakımdan incelenmeye elverişli metinlerdir. Necatigil’in şiirleri dili, gönderme yaptığı mitler, efsaneler, halk anlatıları bakımından zengin veriler sunmaktadır. Hem Batı hem Doğu mitolojilerine hakim olan Necatigil, şiirlerinde mitolojik unsurları ve mitlerden doğduğu kabul edilen arketipleri bazı şiirlerinde kullanmıştır. Çalışmamızın konusunu oluşturan yeniden doğuş arketipi de şiirlerde kendine yer bulmuştur. Yeniden doğuş arketipi bazı şiirlerde açık bir şekilde işlenmişken bazı şiirlerde ise daha örtük olarak ele alınmıştır. Yeniden doğuş arketipi şiirlerde bazen bir isim, bazen bir hayvan, bazen de bir bitki olarak kendine yer bulmuştur. Bu çalışma söz konusu simgeleri irdelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Arketip kavramı hakkında söylenmiş çok söz olduğundan çalışmada bu konuya fazla değinilmeden yeniden doğuş arketipi hakkında bilgiler verilerek şiirlerdeki yansımalarına bakılacaktır.
