Analysis of the Repetitions in the Qur’an from Risale-i Nur Perspective

Abstract

Repetitions take place in the Qur’an a lot. Hence, when speaking about repetitionsin the Quran, what is repeated is an issue that needs to be clarified. Inthis respect, it is possible to divide repetititons in the Quran into two parts;“wording” and “meaning” repetitions. Meaning repetititons are repetitions ofcertain events, issues related to heaven and hell, and similar topics. Wordingrepetitions, on the other hand, are the repetitions of words and sentences inthe same way in the same chapter or various chapters. This topic has been addressed by books and articles of Islamic shcolars responding to criticisms so far.Said Nursî, inspired by the Qur'an, has presented solutions to the humanity inhis works, and closely dealt with this topic. In his works, Nursî examines thetopic of Holy Qur'an Repetitions generally from the aspects of supplication,remembrance, consolation and delivering good news, deterrence, confirmation,strengthening, its relation to the universality of Qur'an and its purposes,manifestation of its miraculousness, Meccan and Madinan chapters, eloquence,persuasions and guidince and repetition of needs . Nursî has concluded thatapparent repetitions are not repetitions indeed and need to exist in the HolyQur’an.

Özet

Tekrarlar, Kur’an’da oldukça fazla yer kaplar. Bundan dolayı Kur’an’daki tekrarlardansöz edilirken neyin tekrarlandığı, açıklığa kavuşturulması gereken birmeseledir. Bu bakımdan, Kur’an’da geçen tekrarları ‘lafız’ ve ‘mana tekrarları’olarak iki bölüme ayırmak mümkündür. Mana tekrarlarından maksat, bellikıssaların, cennet ve cehennem ile ilgili konuların ve benzeri mevzuların tekrarlanmasıdır.Lafız tekrarları ise, bir kelimenin, kelamın, cümlenin aynı suredeveya farklı surelerde aynen tekrarlanmasıdır. Bu konu, geçmişten günümüze,gelen eleştiriler üzerine İslam alimleri tarafından kitaplar, risaleler yazılarak cevaplarverilmiştir. Eserlerinde günümüz insanına Kur’an’dan mülhem reçetelersunan Said Nursî de bu konu üzerinde önemle durmaktadır. Nursî, ‘Kur’anTekrarları’ konusunu ana hatlarıyla dua ve zikir, tasrif, teselli ve müjdeleme,inzar, takrir ve te’kid, Kur’an’ın evrenselliği icabı, Kur’an maksatlarıyla olanilgisi, Kur’an i’cazının tezahürü olarak, Mekki ve Medeni sureler, belağat, iknave irşat, ihtiyaçların tekrarı cihetleriyle incelemiştir. Nursî, zahiren görülen tekrarınhakikatte tekrar olmadığını ve Kur’an-ı Ker’im’de bulunmalarının gerekliolduğu sonucuna ulaşmıştır.
