Abstract
this sduty, it has been examined ceramic coating of cuttig tools, CVD ( Chemical VapourDeposition ), PVD ( Physical Vapour Deposition ), flame spray and plasma spraytechniques used in manufacturing industry. Specially, it has been studied the positiveeffects on the performance of the cutting tools of ceramic coating mode with CVD andPVD techniques.Furthermone it has been examined the effects occured compressive stressin the material under coating by PVD techniques.

çalışmada, İmalat endüstrisinde kullanılan kesici takımların seramik kaplanması,seramik kaplama tekniklerinden CVD (Kimyasal Buhar Çöktürme), PVD (Fiziksel BuharÇöktürme), alevle püskürtme, plazma püskürtme teknikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. ÖzellikleCVD ve PVD teknikleri ile yapılan seramik kaplamanın kesici takımların performansınaolan olumlu etkileri ve PVD tekniğinin kaplama altı malzemelerde oluşturduğu basmagerilmesinin takım ömrüne olan etkileri incelenmiştir.
