Abstract
this work, the amount of oil consumpted by the excavators andheavy mine trucks in the open pits of the Western Lignite Corporation(WLC)hasbeenanalysedforrecentyears. Additionally, the oil examinationlaboratory, built in 1998 aiming to reduce the oil consumption was alsointroduced together with the results of related oil analyses and the benefits ofthese analyses for the company.
