Abstract
Abstract. In order to prevent the danger of dust in underground mining, it is high of importance to evaluate the dust measurements statistically, to define the reasons for dust formation and to take the necessary precautions. The patients suffering from the pneumoconiosis should also take a part in dust prevention programme. In the scope of this work, it was aimed to evaluate statistically the dust measurements taken and recorded in Park Teknik - Cayirhan Lignites Corporation (PTCL) since 1997 and define the dust circumstances according to the working places.

Yeraln ocaklannda tozun zararlanrn onlernek icin oncelikle toz olcumlerinin istatistiksel olarak degerlendirilrnesi, tozu olusturan nedenlerin belirlenmesi ve 0 nedenleri giderecek onlernlerin almrnasi gerekmektedir. Toz hastalan da tozu onlerne prograrrunm bir parcasi olarak goz onunde tutulrnahdir. Bu cahsrnada, iilkemizin onernli linyit iireticilerinden olan Park Teknik - Cayirhan Linyitleri (PT<;:L) Isletrnesi 'ride, toz oleum cahsmalannm basladigi 1997 yilmdan bu yana olculen ve kaydedilen, birikrnis toz oleum degerlerinin istatistiksel bir yaklasirnla yorumlanrnasi ve cahsma yerlerine gore toz kosullanrun belirlenmesi hedeflenmistir.
