THE FEEDING BIOLOGY OF FIELD MOUSE ( MICROTUS GUENTHERI) IN LABORATORY AND THE SOME HABITAT FEATURES

TARLA FARESİ (MICROTUS GUENTHERI)’NİN LABORATUVARDA BESLENME BİYOLOJİSİ VE BAZI HABİTAT ÖZELLİKLERİ

Abstract

This study is based on examples of a male, a female and four pieces cubs Microtus guentheri (Field mouse) observed in the laboratory for 151 days between January-May 2010. The feeding biology in laboratory and some habitat features of this species were recorded. For this purpose, 56 types of food has been tested and they ate 52 types and didn’t eat 4 types of them. The nest holes that reflect habitat feature in two localities and some measure of positioning, figures and photographs are presented in this study.

Bu araştırma 2010 yılı Ocak-Mayıs ayları arasında 151 gün boyunca laboratuvarda gözlenen bir erkek, bir dişi ve 4 adet yavru Microtus guentheri (Tarla faresi) örneğine dayanmaktadır. Bu türe ait laboratuvarda beslenme biyolojisi ile bazı habitat özellikleri kaydedilmiştir. Bu amaçla, 56 adet besin çeşidi denenmiş olup, bunlardan 52 adet besin çeşidini yemiş, 4 adet besin çeşidini ise yememiştir. Habitat özelliklerini yansıtan iki lokalitedeki yuva delikleri ve konumlanmasına ait bazı ölçüler ile şekil ve fotoğraflar bu çalışmada sunulmuştur.
