THE JUVENILES PUSHED TO CRIME AND JUVENILE VICTIMS IN THE CITY ERZINCAN

Abstract

The aim of this study is to define the number of the juveniles pushed to crime (injury, theft, damage to property, etc.) and juvenile victims (offenses against the family, injury, etc.), to present the pace of prevention of these numbers in the last 8 years and to compare them according to country charts. That there has not been any research in the city Erzincan concerning this issue is important in terms of examining the number juvenile pushed to crime and juvenile victims. Moreover, the present study is believed to be important with regards to providing an insight into other studies on this issue and to the development of intervention and prevention programs. In this study, designed with descriptive cross sectional research design, the statistical data of the juveniles pushed to crime and juvenile victims below the age 11 present in the data base called “The Juveniles Came and Brought into Security Units” themed as “Statistics of Justice” which was published by TÜİK (Turkish Statistical Institute) for the first time in 2008 and last in 2014 belonging to the city Erzincan and Turkey were used. The juveniles pushed to crime and juvenile victims of the last 6 years in the city and in the whole country were defined. Statistics were presented with percentages in the tables. In the province of Erzincan As a result drift to injury between types of crime of children driven to crime in 2008 and 2014, the highest number ( 1680 ) and , while the first place , the second dragged theft ( 1412) have taken place, the drift damage to property has been found to take third place. In the province of Erzincan in 2014 134 children ( 77 boys , 57 girls ) were injured, 18 (13 male and 5 female) are exposed to crimes against children in the family order , 8 children ( 4 boys and 4 daughter ) , 2 ( 2 girls ) , became the first man other crime victims

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı Erzincan İli’nde suça sürüklenen (yaralama, hırsızlık, mala zarar verme, v.b.) ve suç mağduru olan (aile düzenine karşı suçlar, yaralama, v.b.) çocuk sayılarının belirlenmesi ve bu sayıların son 8 yıldaki önlenme hızının ortaya konması ve ülke göstergelerine göre karşılaştırılmasıdır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda yürütülen bu çalışma, Erzincan İli’nde konu ile ilgili bir çalışmanın yapılmamış olması, ildeki suça sürüklenen ve suç mağduru olan çocuk sayılarının değerlendirilmesi açısından önemlidir. Ayrıca bu çalışmanın alanda yapılacak diğer araştırmalara ışık tutması ve konu ile ilgili müdahale programlarının geliştirilmesi açısından da önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir. Tanımlayıcı-kesitsel araştırma tipinde planlanan bu çalışmada TÜİK (Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu) tarafından Erzincan ili ve Türkiye'ye ait olarak ilk defa 2008 ve en son 2014 yılında yayınlanan “Adalet İstatistikleri” konulu "Güvenlik Birimlerine Gelen ve Getirilen Çocuklar " veri tabanında bulunan suç mağduru ve suça sürüklenen 11 yaş ve altı çocuklara ait istatistiksel veriler kullanılmıştır. Son 6 yıl boyunca ilde ve ülkemizde suça sürüklenen ve suç mağduru olan çocuklar belirlenmiştir. İstatistikler yüzdeler hesaplanarak tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda Erzincan ilinde 2008 ve 2014 yıllarında suça sürüklenen çocukların suç türleri arasında yaralamaya sürüklenme en fazla sayı (1680) ile ilk sırada yer alırken, hırsızlığa sürüklenen ikinci sırada (1412) yerini almış, mala zarar vermeye sürüklenme de üçüncü sırada yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. 2014 yılında Erzincan ilinde 134 çocuğun (77'si erkek, 57'si kız) yaralandığı, 18 (13'ü erkek, 5'i kız) çocuğun aile düzenine karşı suçlara maruz kaldığı, 8 çocuğun (4'ü erkek, 4'ü kız), 2 kişi (2'si kız), 1 erkek ise diğer suç mağduru olmuştur.
