IDENTIFICATION THE LEVEL OF AGGRESSION OF ASSOCIATE DEGREE STUDENTS IN RESPECT OF DEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLES

MESLEK YÜKEKOKULU ÖĞRENİLERİNİN DEMOGRAFİK DEĞİŞKENLERİNE İLİŞKİN SALDIRGANLIK DÜZEYLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract

The target of this study is to analyze the level of aggression of associate degree students. The present study was applied with a questionnaire consisting of 37 questions on 250 vocational high school students which was chosen through simple incidental sampling methods in Erzincan University. The data obtained as a result of the student’s answers in questionnaire were analyzed through SPSS package program. In the first section of the study literature study about aggression was done and in the second part, the term of aggression and student’s demographic features were compared within the frame of physical and oral aggression, sub-dimension of anger and enmity. As a result of the study, the correlation between associate degree student’s living regions, settlements, parent education and some other variables with their aggression manners was interpreted.

Özet

Araştırmanın amacı önlisans öğrencilerinin saldırganlık düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Mevcut çalışma Erzincan Üniversitesi’nde basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 250 meslek yüksekokulu öğrencisi üzerinde 37 sorudan oluşan bir anket ile uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerin cevaplandırdığı anketler sonucunda elde edilen veriler SPSS paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde saldırganlık konusunda literatür araştırması yapılmış olup ikinci bölümünde fiziksel saldırganlık, sözel saldırganlık, öfke ve düşmanlık alt boyutları çerçevesinde saldırganlık kavramı ve öğrencilerin demografik özellikleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda önlisans öğrencilerinin yaşadıkları bölge, yerleşim yerleri, ebeveyn eğitimi vb. değişkenler ile saldırganlık tutumları arasındaki korelasyon yorumlanmıştır.
