Abstract
In the Holy Qur’an, it has not been maned with into the name of Messenger of Allah and has been stated and He should not be called by his name. However, it has been seen that the name of messenger of Allah has been addressed as “O Muhammed” in many commentaries and translations while translating Qur’anic word in Turkish. In this paper, it is discussed whether the mentioned situation is right in terms of Qur’an and hadiths or not.
