Abstract
Due to the fact that tourism is a labour intensive sector, qualified intermediate staffs are substantially needed in the tourism sector. That is why, the tendencies of students who take intermediate education in vocational high school is crucial for future of tourism sector. The aim of this study is to research the relation between satisfaction of the students who take tourism education in vocational high schools and their tendencies to tourism sector. For that purpose, the research sample of this study constitutes the students who get training in the field of tourism at Mehmet AkifErsoy University Ağlasun Vocational School of Higher Education and SüleymanDemirel University HikmetTolunay Vocational School of Higher. In this research, quantitative analysis is used and in accordance with the research structure of this study, the survey method is used to collect data.
Özet
Turizm sektörü emek yoğun bir sektör olmasından dolayı nitelikli ara elemana ciddi manada ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Bu nedenle ara eleman eğitimi alan meslek yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin turizm sektörüne eğilimleri sektörün geleceği açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı meslek yüksekokullarında turizm eğitimi alan öğrencilerin memnuniyet düzeylerinin turizm sektörüne yönelme eğilimlerini araştırmaktır. Bu amaçla araştırmanın örneklemini; Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy Üniversitesi Ağlasun Meslek Yüksekokulu ve Hikmet Tolunay Meslek Yüksekokulunda turizm eğitimi alan öğrenciler ile Isparta Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Isparta Meslek Yüksekokulunda turizm eğitimi alan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmış olup, araştırmanın yapısına uygun olarak veri toplamak için anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır.
