Abstract
In this research it is aimed to point out the self and the other images described in the reading texts of Turkish course books of 6th 7th and 8th classes With this aim texts of the national cultural unit have been analyzed In addition the images of the self and the other are discussed in the social context and assumptions have been developed in this regard So self and other images trying to create of Turkish educaiton is critically discussed The research is critically important in terms of evaluating how well the self and the other images created in those reading passages comply with current educational system and universal human mentality Key words: Turkish education course book image self other
Özet
Bu araştırmada 6 7 ve 8 sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki okuma metinlerinde yer alan öz ve öteki imgelerinin saptanması amaçlanmıştır Bu amaçla milli kültür ünitesindeki metinler incelenmiştir Ayrıca öz ve öteki imgelerinin toplumsal bağlamı tartışılmış ve bu konuda varsayımlar geliştirilmiştir Böylece Türkçe eğitiminin oluşturmaya çalıştığı öz ve öteki imgesi eleştirel olarak tartışılmıştır Araştırma okuma metinlerinde yaratılan öz ve öteki imgesinin güncel eğitim ve evrensel insan anlayışıyla ne denli örtüştüğünün sınanması bakımından önem taşımaktadır Anahtar Sözcükler: Türkçe eğitimi ders kitabı imge öz öteki
