A RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECTING WRITING MATERIALS: MANAS PLAY

Abstract

In this study, it was researched whether the writing of the developed Manas Play was effective in teaching mixed words. The Manas Play was developed and applied by researchers in the field. Manas Play; It consists of nine stages: giving information about the technique, setting misspelled words, identifying students' mistakes, preparing the instruments, teaching the words, introducing the game, setting the groups, taking the groups in order according to the game flow, and evaluating the groups. The study was conducted with 12 fourth-year students in a primary school. The study lasted 14 days. At the end of the research, Manas Play was found to be effective on the writing errors made by the students.

Bu çalışmada, geliştirilen Manas Oyunun yazımı karıştırılan kelimelerin öğretiminde etkili olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Manas Oyunu, araştırmacılar tarafından alan yazından hareketle geliştirilmiş ve uygulanmıştır. Manas Oyunu; oyun hakkında bilgi verilmesi, yanlış yazılan kelimelerin belirlenmesi, öğrencilerin yazım yanlışlarının tespit edilmesi, araçların hazırlanması, kelimelerin öğretimi, oyunun tanıtılması, grupların belirlenmesi, grupların oyun akışına göre sırayla tahtaya çıkması ve değerlendirilmesi olmak üzere dokuz aşamadan oluşmaktadır. Çalışma, bir ilkokulda 4. sınıf düzeyinde öğrenim gören 12 ile yürütülmüştür. Çalışma, 14 gün sürmüştür. Araştırma sonunda Manas Oyununun öğrencilerin yaptığı yazım yanlışlarını düzeltmede etkili olmuştur.
