Abstract
As one of the unique leaders of world history, Atatürk has achieved 57 years of short life. Atatürk, who created a brand new and contemporary state from a collapsing empire, and directed history through his ideas and practices, was eternal in the hearts of the Turkish nation with all these aspects.Republic of Turkey's founder and first president of the Ataturk struggle, innovations and goals realized exploited elsewhere in the world has set an example to the nations oppressed. For this reason, the news of the death of Atatürk, who has a respectable place all over the world, has been met with great sadness.By the circular published by the Ministry of Interior and the General Secretariat of the Republican People's Party (CHP), funeral ceremonies were organized for Atatürk, male and female, young and old.This study was attempted to reveal all the citizenship and ceremonies and emotions for the death of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on 10 November 1938 in the light of the documents of the Prime Ministry Republic Archives.

Dünya tarihinin eşsiz liderlerinden biri olan Atatürk, 57 yıllık kısa ömrüne birçok başarılar sığdırmıştır. Yıkılmakta olan bir imparatorluktan yepyeni ve çağdaş bir devlet ortaya çıkaran, fikirleri ve uygulamalarıyla tarihe yön veren Atatürk, tüm bu yönleriyle Türk milletinin kalbinde ebedîleşmiştir.Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti’nin kurucusu ve ilk Cumhurbaşkanı olan Atatürk’ün verdiği mücadele, gerçekleştirdiği yenilikler ve hedefleri dünyanın diğer yerlerindeki sömürülen mazlum milletlere de örnek teşkil etmiştir. Bu nedenle bütün dünyada saygın yeri olan Atatürk’ün ölüm haberi büyük bir üzüntüyle karşılanmıştır. İçişleri Bakanlığı ve CHP Genel Sekreterliği tarafından yayınlanan genelgeyle yurt genelinde kadın-erkek, genç-yaşlı herkesin katılımıyla Atatürk için cenaze törenleri düzenlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada 10 Kasım 1938 tarihinde Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün vefatı sebebiyle tüm yurtta düzenlenen cenaze törenlerini; halkın duyduğu acı ve üzüntüyü ifade etmek için gönderdikleri yazı ve şiirleri Başbakanlık Cumhuriyet Arşivi belgeleri ışığında ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.
