A rare cause of lower gastrointestinal bleeding: A case report with idiopathic colonic varices

Abstract
Colonic varices are the rare cause of lower gastrointestinal bleeding, and in more than 75% of the cases, the etiology is portal hypertension. In a small portion of patients, the etiology remains idiopathic. Herein, we report a 38-year-old male presenting with colonic varices.
Özet
Kolonik varisler alt gastrointestinal sistem kanamasının nadir bir nedeni olup vakaların %75'inden fazlasında etyoloji portal hipertansiyondur. Küçük bir bölümünde ise etyoloji idiyopatik kalmaktadır. Burada 38 yaşında idiyopatik kolonik varis kanaması ile gelen bir olgu sunumu yapılmıştır.
