Abstract

Sufi literature is considered to be one of the literary genres of poetry and prose in the Islamic era. This literature, based on the tradition of poetry, has emerged as a new kind of love. This genre is the divine love which uses the path of lyric and affection to express heartbreaking passions and supreme human wishes to attain the unseen and the inaccessible. Sufi poet has adopted symbolism as a duty. Ibn Fariz also took the woman as a symbol which guides to divine love. His work Et-Tâiyyetü'l-Kübrâ is one of the products of such a desire. This eulogy reflects his spiritual life. In this eulogy, the poet respects woman as a symbol for divine love, tells about his spiritual progress through divine love and particularly, explains the method of submission to the unique creator of all beings

Özet

Sûfî edebiyatı, İslâmî dönemlerde şiir ve nesir olarak ortaya çıkan edebiyat çeşitlerinden biri sayılmaktadır. Şiir geleneğine dayanan bu edebiyat, yeni bir aşk türü olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu tür, görülmeyen ve ulaşılamayana kavuşma yolunda insanda var olan yüce arzuları ve kalbe acı veren tutkuları ifade etmek için gazel ve sevgi yolunu kullanan ilâhî aşktır. Sûfî şâir remz’i (îmâ/işaret) kendine bir vazife edinmiştir. İbn Fârız da bazı kasidelerinde kadını, ilâhî aşka götüren bir simge olarak almıştır. Et-Tâiyyetü’l-Kübrâ adlı kasidesi, onun bu arzularının meyvelerinden bir tanesidir. Bu kaside onun ruhsal hayatını yansıtmaktadır. Şair bu kasidesinde; kadını ilâhî aşkı için bir remz olarak almış, ilâhî aşk yolundaki sülûkunu anlatmış ve özellikle varlıkların yegâne yaratıcısına boyun eğmeğe ulaştıran metodu açıklamıştır.
