On the Origin and Complementaries of the Verb tur- in Old Turkic

Abstract
In this study, firstly, the origin of the verb that we see in the form of tur- in the inscriptions and texts belonging to the Old Turkic (Kök-Turkic and Old Uighur Turkic) period is emphasized and then, in terms of the relationship of the verb-complementary, the complements of the verb tur- and its derivatives, and the examples taken from the inscriptions and texts are presented.
Özet
Bu çalışmada öncelikle, Eski Türkçe (Kök-Türkçe ve Eski Uygur Türkçesi) Dönemi’ne ait yazıtlarda ve metinlerde tur- biçiminde gördüğümüz eylemin kökeni üzerinde durulmuş, ardından eylem (fiil)-tamlayıcı ilişkisi bakımından tur- eyleminin ve türevlerinin tamlayıcıları ile yazıtlardan ve metinlerden alınmış bunlarla ilgili örnekler sunulmuştur.
