Perception of Self in the Context of Creative Writing On Ferit Edgu's the story "Yazar ve Yazman"

Abstract
In this work, especially well-known with his short short stories, Ferit Edgü's story called “The Author and The Secretary” will be investigated in the context of creative writing and with the “the fiction” in literary process, author’s self-perception will be trying to be clarified. In the text, the author’s concerns, psychology and cognitive processes mostly influence and shape the fictional world of the text. In the work, the identities of “the author”, “the character and “the narrator” sometimes intertwines and constitutes an intricate personality structure. In “The Author and The Secretary”, a writing adventure is narrated by the author himself. In the story, narrator “author” and character “secretary” will be scrutinized in terms of the personality structures and neurotic conflicts of psychoanalytic literary criticism.
Özet
Bu çalışmada, özellikle küçürek öyküleriyle dikkati çeken Ferit Edgü’nün “Yazar ve Yazman” adlı öyküsü yaratıcı yazarlık bağlamında incelenecek ve yazınsal süreçteki kurmaca yazarın benlik algısına ışık tutulmaya çalışılacaktır. Yazarın yaratma psikolojisi ve zihinsel süreçleri, çoğu zaman eserin kurmaca dünyasına yansır. Eserde yazar, kişi ve anlatıcı kimlikleri kimi zaman iç içe girerek karmaşık bir kişilik yapısı oluştururlar. “Yazar ve Yazman” adlı öyküde de, anlatımın yazarın ağzından yapıldığı bir yazma serüveni anlatılmaktadır. Öyküde, anlatıcı “yazar” ve karakter “yazman”, psikanalitik edebiyat eleştirisinin kişilik yapıları ve nevrotik çatışmaları açısından değerlendirilmiştir.
