Abstract
In this study two main roles of all educators such as, 1. subject matter, 2. Socializationand culturalisation duty were tried to be reminded. According to the observations andthe experiences; teachers in post in Turkish Education System achieve their subjects butunderachieve the duty of socialization and culturalisation. Tme purpose of this study isto find out about this preview. A questionnaire was applied to undergraduate students andstatistical analysis was corrected by 75 per cent. In the other words teachers did not dotheir culturalisation and socialization duty well enough even some teachers appeared as not aware of this kind of duty. Those two duties should be in balance and precautions shouldbe taken to correct the situation. It is hope that this study brings awareness about thoseproblems.Key words: Culturalisation, socialization, teacher
