Analysis Of Preservice Teachers’ E-Content Development Skills

Abstract
The importance of the e-contents which are used in e-learning environments are increasing every day and significant responsibilities are falling upon teachers and teacher candidates for e-content development. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the e-content development skills of the teacher candidates. Within the framework of this aim, an “E-Content Development Skills” scale, which consisted of 48 matters and seven factors and developed by Polat (2014), was applied to 602 teacher candidates, who studies in Education Faculty in Firat University. According to the analysis results, the participants gave the answer of “Neither agree” on Technical Criteria, Animation Criteria, Video Criteria, Graphic and Photograph Criteria, Assessment and Evaluation Criteria of the E-Content Development Skills scale and the answers of “Agree” on Educational and Design Criteria and Sound Criteria.
Özet
E-öğrenme ortamlarından kullanılan e-içeriklerin önemi gün geçtikçe artmakta, öğretmenlere ve öğretmen adaylarına ise e-içerik geliştirme sürecinde önemli görevler düşmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının e-içerik geliştirme becerilerinin değerlendirilmesidir. Bu amaca yönelik olarak Polat (2014) tarafından geliştirilen 48 maddeden ve yedi faktörden oluşan “E-içerik Geliştirme Becerileri” ölçeği, Fırat Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi’nde öğrenim gören 602 öğretmen adayına uygulanmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre katılımcılar, E-İçerik Geliştirme Becerileri ölçeğinin Teknik Kriterlerine, Animasyon Kriterlerine, Video Kriterlerine, Grafik ve Fotoğraf Kriterlerine, Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Kriterlerine “Kısmen Katılıyorum”; Eğitsel ve Tasarım Kriterlerine ve Ses Kriterlerine ise “Katılıyorum” aralığına denk gelen cevaplar vermişlerdir.
