Abstract
In this article İbnü’l-Hümâm’s views about the prophethood are investigated. Ibn al-Humam lived in period of müteahhirin theologians. He was the Maturidy theologians. This article includes the following topics: Whether Almighty God sending needs to send a prophet or not; can a female be prophet?; numbers and characteristics of the prophets; miraculous properties that are seen in Holy Muhammad.
Özet
Bu makalemizde müteahhirîn kelâmcılar döneminde yaşayan Mâturîdî kelâm bilginlerinden İbnü’l-Hümâm’ın peygamberlik konusundaki görüşleri ele alınmaktadır. Makalede Yüce Allah’ın peygamber göndermesine ihtiyacın olup olmadığı, bayanların peygamber olup olamayacağı, Peygamberlerin sayıları, özellikleri, Hz. Peygamberde görülen mucizevi vasıflar incelenmektedir.
