Figh Size of Todays Repo Transactions as Comparison with the Bey’ bi’l-vefa and Bey’u’l- îne

Abstract
In this study, repo transactions, one of todays capital market instruments, are discussed in comparison with the contracts of “bey’ bi’l-vefa” and “bey’u’l-îne” that are included in the fiqh books as financing methods in detail. Considering the general principles on interest in Islam and the general opinion in the classical fiqh literature on bey’ bi’l-vefa and bey’u’l-îne, todays repo transactions have been evaluated in terms of fıqh.
Özet
Bu çalışmada, günümüz sermaye piyasası araçlarından biri olan repo işlemleri, finansman yöntemleri olarak fıkıh kitaplarında etraflıca yer bulan “bey’ bi’l-vefa” ve “bey’u’l-îne” sözleşmeleri ile mukayeseli olarak ele alınmıştır. İslam’da faiz konusundaki genel ilkeler ve bey’ bi’l-vefa ile bey’u’l-îne hakkındaki klasik fıkıh literatüründeki genel kanaat dikkate alınarak, günümüz repo işlemleri fıkhi açıdan değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır.
