Özet
Bu araştırma, 12-24 ay aralığında bebeğe sahip olan annelerin motor gelişim sürecine ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma grubunu 12-24 ay aralığında bebeğe sahip olan ve çalışmaya gönüllü olarak katılmayı kabul eden anneler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacına ulaşmada uygun veriler elde edebilmek için nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada; annelerin motor gelişim sürecine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemeye yönelik soruların bulunduğu Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu ve bebek/ebeveyn hakkında bilgi almak için Genel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yaklaşık 20-25 dk. sürmüştür. Görüşmeden elde edilen veriler ayrıntılı bir şekilde değerlendirilerek ana ve alt temalar oluşturularak ayrıştırılmıştır. Bu değerlendirmeden elde edilen sonuçlar yurtiçi ve yurt dışı kaynaklar kullanılarak tartışılmıştır. Elde edilen bilgiler genel olarak incelendiğinde annelerin motor gelişim sürecine ilişkin bilgi düzeylerinin çok yeterli olmadığı dikkati çekmektedir.Annelerin kaba motor becerileri örneklemede ve bebeklerinde gözlemledikleri motor becerileri ifade etmekte yeterli olmalarına rağmen;motor gelişim kavramının terimsel ifadesinde, ince motor becerileri örneklemede, ev ortamında kullandığı materyalleri çeşitlendirmekte ve motor gelişimi desteklemek amacıyla başvurduğu kişi/kaynak noktasında yeterli olmadıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
Abstract
Goal of this research is to determine opinions about motor development process of mothers who have 12-24 months old babies. The study group is consisting of mothers who have 12-24 months old babies and also volunteered to participate in this research. In order to acquire appropriate data to reach the goal of this research, semi structured interview technique which is one of the qualitative research methods has been used. In there search, Semi Structured Interview Form which includes questions to determine opinions about motor development process of mothers is used, also to acquire information about babies/parent, General Information Form is used. This semi structured interview approximately took 20-25 minutes. Data acquired through the interview is evaluated thoroughly and main and subthemesare formed and separated. Results from this evaluation is discussed using local and foreign resources. After the examination of acquired information, we can draw attention to the mothers’ lack of knowledge about motor development process. Although mothers are capable of sampling primitive motor skills and expressing their observations regarding those skills of their babies, they are not sufficient enough to express motor development terminologically, sample fine motor skills, vary the materials to be used in home environment, and look for resources/people to support motor development.
