Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the proficiency levels of classroom teachers working in Kilis regarding the use of drama in education. Scanning model was used in the research. The study group of the research consists of 385 classroom teachers working in Kilis. As a data collection tool in the research; The "Scale of Perception of Efficacy in the Use of Drama in Education" developed by Tanrıseven (2013) was used. SPSS 23.0 program was used in data analysis. It has been observed that the general efficacy perceptions of the classroom teachers regarding the use of drama and the efficacy perceptions of the planning, implementation and evaluation of drama, which are the sub-dimensions of the scale, have a value above the average. It was concluded that the general and planning competencies of the classroom teachers regarding the use of drama showed a significant difference in terms of years of service and the competencies of applying drama in terms of the department they graduated from.
Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı Kilis ilinde görev yapmakta olan sınıf öğretmenlerinin eğitimde drama kullanımına ilişkin yeterlik düzeylerini belirlemektir. Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Kilis ilinde görev yapmakta olan 385 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak; Tanrıseven (2013) tarafından geliştirilen “Eğitimde Drama Kullanımına İlişkin Yeterlilik Algısı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Veri analizinde SPSS 23.0 programı kullanılmıştır. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin drama kullanımına ilişkin genel yeterlilik algılarının ve ölçeğin alt boyutları olan dramanın planlanması, uygulanması ve değerlendirilmesine yönelik yeterlilik algılarının ortalamanın üstünde bir değere sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin drama kullanımına ilişkin genel ve planlama yeterliliklerinin hizmet yılı, dramayı uygulama yeterliliklerinin mezun oldukları bölüm açısından anlamlı bir fark gösterdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
