FORMATİON OF THE TRADİTİON OF LOGİC İN ISLAMİC CULTURAL UNİVERSE DURİNG THE ERA OF AWAKENİNG

Abstract
The year 610 was a turning point for the history of humanity because the first divinely revelations to Prophet Muhammad were sent, and the birth of a new religion appeared in Arab peninsula. There became an Islamic population along with inclusion and conversion of various faith and race groups to Islam. This group of people, or society, was establishing its unique cultural world with the language they share, thought system, art and science from the first decades of emergence. In this cultural world, which consisted of the contributions and the effects of several other cultures, the science of logic, though it depended on Aristotle’s idea of logic, was also emerging to become a tradition of its own among other sciences. This study attempts to present the establishment of Islamic tradition of logic which has a unique place within general history of logic in the era, which I call “the era of awakening,” between 8th and 12th centuries.
Özet
Bilindiği gibi 610 yılı insanlık tarihi için oldukça önemli bir dönüm noktasıdır. Zira bu tarihte, son peygamber Hz. Muhammet (S.A.V.)’in ilk vahyi tebliğleriyle Arap yarımadasında yeni bir din zuhur ediyordu. İlerleyen yıllarda çeşitli inanç ve ırklardan milletlerin bu dine girmesiyle din ekseninde bir İslam toplumu oluşuyordu. Bu toplum daha ilk dönemlerinden itibaren gerek iç ve gerekse dış etkenlerle, daha dilinden itibaren bilimiyle, tefekkür hayatıyla, sanatıyla… vb. kendine özgü bir kültür evrenini de hızla oluşturuyordu. Çeşitli kültürlerin etki ve katkısıyla oluşan bu kültür evreninde kendine özgü bilim anlayışı içerisinde mantık biliminin de, Aristoteles mantık anlayışına dayalı da olsa, bir geleneği oluşuyordu. İşte bu makalede uyanış dönemi diye adlandırdığım 8. Yüzyıldan 12. Yüzyıla kadar olan zaman dilimi içerisinde genel mantık tarihi içerisinde özel bir yeri olan İslam mantık geleneğinin nasıl oluştuğu ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmaktadır.
