God and Ethics. Assumptions and Prejudices

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to deal with the issue of God and ethics on the base of assumptions and prejudices. We aim to examine and criticize within the border of this article God and ethics relationship. The discussions of the source of ethical values and determinination exact will of God about the ethical orders are our main concerns. Images of God have close connections with ethical understandings and have an impact on these approaches. Our main thesis would be that there are very few common points in theistic religions in view of the ethics.

Bu makalede, Tanrı ve ahlâk ilişkisi hakkında dinî ve felsefî literatürde kabul ve ön- yargıların bir eleştirisine yer verilecektir. Ahlâkın kaynağı, Tanrı’nın ahlâkî muradını bilebilme imkanımız başta olmak üzere, kutsal metinlerde ve felsefede öne çıkan Tanrı tasavvurlarının ahlâk anlayışlarına etkisi eleştirel bir açıdan irdelenecektir. Teistik dinlerde ortak noktaların sanılanın aksine çok daha az olduğu tezi örneklerle işlenecektir.
