Abstract
Turkish nation have got a different historical adventure and a literature that have originated from this adventure. Classifications that don’t consider these are always discussable. Other literatures are in this way as well. Like modern literatures, heroes that will be the models of society were explained in our literature. These heroes have both modern personel and national identity. The development of modern soceties are dependent on these heroes, too.

Türk milletinin farklı bir tarihî macerası ve bu maceraya bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan bir de edebiyatı vardır. Bunları dikkate almadan yapılan tasnifler her zaman tartışmaya açıktır. Diğer edebiyatlar için de böyledir. Modern edebiyatlarda olduğu gibi, topluma örnek olacak kahramanlar bizim edebiyatımızda da anlatılmıştır. Bu kahramanlar millî oldukları kadar modern kimliğe de sahiptirler. Çağdaş toplumların gelişmeleri bu kahramanlara da bağlıdır.
