BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF NATIONAL STUDIES ON FOOD NEOPHOBIA AND FOODNEOPHILIA

Abstract
In this research, it is aimed to analyze the scientific studies conducted in the national field on Food Neophobia and Food Neophilia in terms of bibliometrics. Within the framework of the purpose of the research; A national literature review was conducted. As a result of literature reviews, the data obtained were examined and evaluated on many different criteria. According to the results of the data obtained from the research; It has been determined that the oldest published study on the concepts of Food Neophobia and Food Neophilia in Turkey is a paper published in 2013. In addition, it was determined that the first article was published in 2014 and the first thesis was published in 2018. Therefore, it is understood that the studies on the subject are very new. With this, due to the fact that the studies are very new, the scarcity of published scientific studies is also noteworthy. One of the most striking data obtained from the research is that there is no consensus among the researchers on the translation of the English concepts of Food Neophobia and Food Neophilia into Turkish. Therefore, it has been found that the concepts related to the subject are translated into Turkish differently.
Özet
Bu araştırmada, Food Neophobia (Yeni yiyecek deneme korkusu) ve Food Neophilia (Yeni yiyecek deneme arzusu) ile ilgili ulusal alanda yapılan bilimsel çalışmaların Bibliyometrik açıdan analiz edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı çerçevesinde; ulusal anlamda alanyazın taraması yapılmıştır. Literatür taramaları sonucunda, elde edilen veriler incelenmiş ve birçok farklı kriter üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilerin sonuçlarına göre; Türkiye’de ulusal alanda yeni yiyecek deneme korkusu ve yeni yiyecek deneme arzusu kavramları ile ilgili yayınlanmış en eski çalışmanın 2013 yılında yayınlanan bir bildiri olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, ilk makalenin 2014 yılında ve ilk tezin de 2018 yılında yayınlandığı tespit edilmiştir. Dolayısıyla konu ile ilgili yapılan çalışmaların çok yeni olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Bununla birlikte; çalışmaların çok yeni olmasından dolayı, yayınlanan bilimsel çalışmaların sayı olarak azlığı da dikkat çekmektedir. Araştırmadan elde edilen en dikkat çekici verilerden bir tanesi de Yeni yiyecek deneme korkusu ve Yeni yiyecek deneme arzusu İngilizce kavramlarının Türkçeye çevrilmesinde araştırmacıların arasında bir fikir birliğinin olmadığının tespit edilmesidir. Dolayısıyla, konu ile alakalı kavramların Türkçeye farklı farklı tercüme edildiği bulgulanmıştır.
