SOSYOLOJİK POZİTİVİZM VE TEOLOJİ ARASINDA MÜPHEMLEŞEN DİN SOSYOLOJİSİ

Abstract

In this paper, I will discuss religion of sociology. The main purpose of this article is to focus on the problems of sociological approach about religion. I argue that sociology generally has two main understanding of sociology of religion and the religious sociology. These approaches reflect some serious problems for scientific method. I think, we can avoid from these two understandings and also we can prefer rather to grasp scientific perspective ; so, we have to believe that sociology should be taken as a science, not as a religious discipline and also the sociology of religion is a sociological science but not a theological science. In my paper, I attempted to explain the matter in this respect

Bu makale de sosyolojinin en önemli alt bilim dallarından biri olan din sosyolojisinin problemleri üzerinde durulmaktadır. Sosyoloji din üzerinde iki temel yaklaşım çerçevesinde bazı problemler içermektedir. Birisi “sosyolojik din”, diğeri de “dinsel sosyoloji”dir. Bu yaklaşımlar bazı ciddi bilimsel sorunlara yol açabilmektedir. Bu sorunların neler olduğu ve nasıl aşılabileceğini tartışmak, bu çalışmanın temel amacıdır. Bu bağlamda, sosyolojinin kendine özgün kuramlarını ve bakış açılarını kullanarak hareket etmesinin zorunlu olduğu ve sosyolojik yaklaşımları söylemleştirerek dinin yerine koymaktan da uzak durması gerektiği öne sürülecektir
