Abstract

Pseudomeningocele is a pathologic defect which can be seen congenitally, postlaminectomy or after trauma. Cerebrospinal fluid is collected in extradural area through the location of dura and arachnoid membrane. Surgically closure of dura defect is the only treatment. A pseudomeningocele case with three compartments formed after laminectomy procedure for spinal tumour which treated succesfully is reported in the present study. This is the only case in literature which has been apperared after spinal tumour surgery and that has three compartments.

Özet

Psödomeningosel, doğumsal, laminektomi veya travma sonrası beyin omurilik sıvısının dura veya araknoid yırtığı boyunca ekstradural mesafede birikmesi sonucu gelişen bir yalancı kesedir. Tedavisi dura açıklığının doğrudan tamiridir. Bu yazıda spinal tümör nedeniyle ameliyat edilen ancak iki ay sonra üç kompartmanlı psödomeningosel gelişen ve cerrahi olarak tedavi edilen bir olgu sunulmuştur. Olgumuz spinal tümör cerrahisi sonrasında ve üç kompartmanlı olması nedeniyle literatürdeki ilk olgudur.
