Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation of thyroid function tests (TFT) with serum prolactine values in hyperemesis gravidarum. Materials and Methods: Thirty pregnant patients that were hospitalized by the diagnosis of hyperemesis gravidarum and 26 pregnancies without symptoms as control group were enrolled in this study. Serum sT3, sT4, TSH, B-hCG and prolactin values were analyzed two times before the medical therapy in the first trimester and after the symptoms dissolved in the second trimester. Amaç: Hiperemezis gravidarumda prolaktin seviyelerini tespit edip, sonuçların tiroid fonksiyon testleri (TFT) ile korelasyonunu açığa çıkartmayı amaçladık. Materyal ve Metod: Bu çalışmaya, hiperemezis gravidarum sebebiyle hospitalize edilen 30 gebe ve hiçbir semptomu olmayan 26 gebe olmak üzere toplam 56 gebe alındı. Hastalarda tedaviye başlanmadan önce ve semptomların düzelmesini takiben II. trimesterde kan örnekleri sabah 08-10 saatleri arasında alınarak hemen serum sT3, sT4, TSH, beta-hCG ve prolaktin seviyeleri tespit edildi.Bulgular: Serbest T4, beta-hCG serbest, beta-hCG total ve prolaktin seviyelerinin her iki grupta da trimesterler arasında anlamlı olarak farklık gösterdiği saptanmıştır (p
