Abstract

Aim: To evaluate sexual dysfunctions, sexual habits and their opinion about sexuality in young healthy Turkish men.Material And Methods: 1412 healthy men were included in this study. Age, body mass index (BMI), educational sta-tus, the frst age of masturbation, the frst age of sexual intercourse, opinions about their penis lengths, presence ofloss of sexual desire and premature ejaculation were asked. Erectile function was evaluated by IIEF-5 while anxietyand depression were evaluated by The Brief Symptom Inventory.Results: The average participation rate of questionnare was 90.5% (1278/1412) and the query with the least partici-pant was IIEF-5 with a rate of 64.9%(917/1412). The mean age was 20.4 (18-28) years, BMI was 22.5 kg/m2. Thefrst masturbation age was 14.2 while the frst sexual intercourse age was 17 averagely. Mean ejaculation time was 8.3minutes. Sixty nine of the participants (5.1%) defned their own penis lengths as small, 1117 of them (82.9%) defned their own penis lengths as normal and 117(8.3%) of them defned their own penis lenghts as big. In participants opini-on faccid and erected penis size averages were 8.2 cm and 16.2 respectively. Loss of sexual desire was identifed in 116of the participants (8.6%), while 343 of them (25.7%) had premature ejaculation and 658 of them (71.8%) had any gra-de of ED. Amaç: Sağlıklı genç Türk erkeklerinin cinsel fonksiyon bozukluklarını, cinsel alışkanlıklarını ve cinsellik ile ilgili dü-şüncelerini incelemek.Yöntem ve Gereçler: Çalışmaya sağlıklı 1412 erkek dahil edildi. Yaş, vücut kitle indeksi (VKI), eğitim durumları,ilk elle boşalma yaşı, ilk cinsel deneyim yaşı, penis boyu hakkındaki düşünceleri, cinsel isteksizlik ve erken boşalmaproblemi olup olmadığı sorgulandı. IIEF-5 ile erektil fonksiyon değerlendirilirken kısa semptom envanteri ile anksi-yete ve depresyon değerlendirmesi yapıldı.Bulgular: Anket sorularına katılım en düşük %64.9 (917/1412) ile IIEF5 değerlendirmesinde iken ve ortalama katı-lım %90.5 (1278/1412) idi. Ortalama yaş 20.4 (18-28) yıl, VKI 22.5 kg/m2 idi. İlk elle boşalma yaşı 14.2, ilk cinseldeneyim yaşı 17 yıl olarak bulundu. İlişkide ortalama boşlama süresini 8.3 dakika idi.
