Growth hormone treatment in Turner syndrome

Abstract

Two girls with Turner syndrome, ages 13 and 17 years old and bone ages 10 and 11 were admitted to determine the effects of human growth hormone therapy. They were given 21 U/m2/week growth hormone. At the end of one year their growth rate was 6 cm/year and their predicted adult height increased 2.6 and 3 cm, respectively.
