Restless Leg Syndrome In Pregnancy

Abstract

Aim: The aim of the present study is investigation of the restless leg syndrome in pregnancy.Material And Methods: Our study was performed with 116 pregnants who were admitted to Dumlupınar University School of Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology Department for routine follow-up between January and March 2015. A questionnaire of 5-questions for Restess Leg Syndrome RLS diagnostic criteria was applied. The results were compared with laboratory values.Results: When compared to first trimester, RLS severity in second and third trimester was found to be significantly higher P 0.05 .Conclusion: There are factors that can affect the frequency and severity of RLS and we believe optimizing these factors during pregnancy may alter the course of disease.

Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı gebelikte huzursuz bacak sendromunu araştırmaktır.Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmamız Dumlupınar Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Polikliniklerine Ocak-Mart 2015 tarihleri arasında rutintakip için başvuran 116 gebe hasta üzerinde gerçekleştirildi.
