Türkiye’de Bölge Radyoculuğu Deneyimi: TRT Çukurova Radyosu Örneği

Özet

Günümüzde yeni iletişim teknolojilerinin sunduğu bazı olanakların etkisiyle her ne kadarönemi azalmış gibi görünse de radyo, eğitim, haber verme, eğlendirme, tanıtım gibiçeşitli işlevleri bulunan, okuma yazma gerektirmemesi, kolay ulaşılabilmesi, ekonomikoluşu vb. nedenlerle geçmişten bugüne etkisini devam ettiren bir kitle iletişim aracıdır.Özellikle yerel ve bölgesel yayınlar yapan radyo istasyonlarının, hedef kitlenin ilgi, istekve ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda ürettiği içerik, bölgesindeki dinleyicilerle sürekli etkileşimiçerisinde olmasına yol açmış, hazırlanan programlar kültürel belleğin oluşmasıbağlamında sesli arşiv oluşturmuş ve böylece bölgenin gelişimine katkı sağlamıştır. Buçalışmada Türkiye’de bölge radyoculuğu deneyiminin bir örneği olarak TRT ÇukurovaBölge Radyosu ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada derinlemesine görüşme tekniği ve literatürtaramasıyla TRT Çukurova Bölge Radyosu’nun kuruluşu ve işleyişine ilişkin önemlinoktaların altı çizilmiştir. Çalışmada TRT Çukurova Radyosu’nun gelişimi hem yayınyaptığı bölgenin jeopolitik önemi hem de süreç içerisinde meydana gelen sosyal,siyasal ve kültürel değişimlerin etkileri göz önünde bulundurularak incelenmiştir.

Abstract

Today, even though its value seems to decrease with the influence of some opportunities offered by new communication technologies, the radio having various functions such as education, news and entertainment is a medium of mass communication that continues its influence from past to present owing to the fact that it does not require literacy, it is easy-access and economical. Especially the content produced by local and regional broadcast radio stations in line with the interest, desire and needs of the target listeners evokes constant interaction between the radio and its listeners; prepared programs generate an audio archive in context of cultural memory and thus, it contributes to the development of the region. In this study, TRT Çukurova Regional Radio is discussed as an example of the regional radio broadcasting. In the study, the important points about establishment and operation of TRT Çukurova Regional Radio are underlined with in-depth interviewing technique and literature review. The development of TRT Çukurova Radio has been examined both in terms of the geopolitical importance of the region of broadcasting and the effects of social, political and cultural changes taking place in the process.
