Foundations of the Grand Vizier Kose Mustafa Pasha

Abstract
Mustafa Pasha (d. 1178/1765) was one of the most important administrators of the 18th centuryOttoman Grand Vizierate. He was appointed as Grand Vizier for three times during the reignsof three sultans. Mustafa Pasha considered to be a Naqshbandi follower constructed threeSufi lodges, three mosques and a halvethâne in Istanbul. He also repaired a mosque in Sofiaand constructed a fountain. For the sustenance of these pious foundations and the paymentof their personnel, Mustafa Pasha donated the tax revenues from the regions of Hurpişte andPrespe in Manastır; his shops and houses in Istanbul, and the revenue from his shops and farmsin Larissa and Elassona.

Mustafa Paşa (ö. 1178/1765) Osmanlı Devletinde 18. yüzyılda sadâret görevinde bulunmuşönemli devlet adamlarındandır. O, farklı üç padişah döneminde üç kez sadârete getirilmiştir.Nakşibendî tarîkatına müntesib olduğu bilinen Mustafa Paşa, İstanbulda üç zâviye, üç câmi vebir halvethâne/çilehâne inşâ ettirmiş; Sofyada bir câmi tamir ettirmiş ve bir de çeşme yaptır- mıştır. O, buralarda görev yapacak şahısların maaşları ve söz konusu eserlerin yıllık giderleriiçin Manastır sancağı nâhiyelerinden Hurpişte ve Prespede alınan bir takım vergiler ile bunlarabağlı yerlerin gelirlerini; Yenişehr-i Fenâr ve Alasonya kazalarındaki dükkânlarını, çiftliklerini;İstanbuldaki dükkânlarını ve evlerini vakfetmiştir.
