Abstract

Necrotizing soft tissue infections have high mortality, especially for some high risk patients. Rare occurence of these infections make diagnosis difficult and delay the necessary urgent debridement causing the mortality to increase further. In this article, we aimed to present two cases of necrotizing fasciitis whom we have followed recently and to discuss risk factors, etiology, classification, diagnosis and management of necrotizing soft tissue infections.

Özet

Nekrotizan yumuşak doku enfeksiyonları özellikle bazı yüksek riskli hastalarda ortaya çıktığında yüksek mortaliteyle seyretmektedir. Bu tür enfeksiyonlar sık görülmediğinden tanıda gecikmeler olmakta ve hastaların tedavileri için çok önemli olan erken ve agresif debridman her zaman mümkün olmamaktadır. Bu yazıda, kliniğimizde yakın dönemde takip ettiğimiz ölümcül seyreden iki adet nekrotizan fasiitli olguyu sunmayı ve literatürü gözden geçirerek risk faktörleri, etiyoloji, sınıflama, teşhis ve tedaviyi tartışmayı amaçladık.
