Abstract
Acanthamoebae are ubiquitous free-living protozoans in nature. They are recognized as a cause of human infection of the cornea that is frequently related with contact lenses and may cause serious and even vision threatening keratitis. Although there are improved diagnostic tests and treatment strategies, prevention becomes important because of the bad prognosis. In this study, by showing the two cases that are pointed out in the following, it is aimed to analyze the clinical presentation, diagnosis, therapy and protection methods of Acanthamoebae keratitis.
