Abstract

Purpose: To evaluate retrospectively the results and complications of deep sclerectomy (DS)+T-flux implant surgery in patients with open angle glaucoma. Methods: Seventeen eyes of 15 patients (mean age: 65.6±8.6 years) with medically uncontrolled open angle glaucoma underwent DS combined with T-flux implant. In all patients, visual acuities, intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement and anterior and posterior examinations were performed before and after surgery and the complications were recorded. Results: The mean pre-and postoperative IOPs were 26.7±6.7 mmHg and 14.8±3.2 mmHg whereas the mean pre- and postoperative antiglaucomatous medications were 2.7±0.9, 0.3±0.7, respectively. Amaç: Primer açık açılı giokomlu olgularda derin sklerektomi (DS)+T-flux implant cerrahisinin sonuçlarının ve komplikasyonlarının retrospektif olarak değerlendirilmesi. Metod: İlaç tedavisi ile göz içi basıncı (GİB) kontrol altına alınamayan yaş ortalaması: 65.6±8.6 yıl olan 15 primer açık açılı giokomlu hastanın 17 gözüne DS ile kombine T-flux implantı uygulandı. Olguların ameliyat öncesi ve sonrası görme keskinliği, GİB'ı, ön ve arka segment muayeneleri yapıldı ve saptanan komplikasyonlar kaydedildi. Bulgular: Ameliyat öncesi ve sonrası ortalama GİB'ları sırası ile 26.7±6.7 mmHg ve 14.8±3.2 mmHg iken cerrahi öncesi ortalama antiglokomatöz medikasyon 2.7±0.9, cerrahi sonrası ise 0.3±0.7 idi.
