Abstract

Objectives: To assess changes in reflectivity of the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE), ellipsoid zone (EZ), and external limitingmembrane (ELM) on spectral domain-optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) images and the effects of reflectivity changes on visualacuity improvement after vitrectomy in macular hole patients. Materials and Methods: Twenty-four eyes of 24 patients with idiopathic full-thickness macular hole closed after vitrectomy wereretrospectively reviewed. Amaç: Maküla deliği hastalarında vitrektomi sonrası spektral domain-optik koherens tomografi (SD-OKT) görüntülerinde retina pigment epitheli (RPE), elipsoid zon (EZ) ve dış limitan membran (DLM) refletivitelerinin değişiminin ve reflektivite değişiminin görme keskinliği artışına etkisinin değerlendirilmesidir.Gereç ve Yöntem: Vitrektomi sonrası kapanan 24 idiyopatik tam kat maküla deliği hastasının 24 gözü retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi. Medikal görüntüleme yazılımının “plot profil” özelliği tek maskeli hekim tarafından kullanılarak cerrahi sonrası 1. ay ve 12. ayda OKT görüntülerindeki RPE, EZ ve DLM reflektiviteleri analiz edildi.Bulgular: Mutlak ve rölatif EZ reflektivitesi cerrahi sonrası 12. ayda cerrahi sonrası 1. aya kıyasla istatistiksel anlamlı artış göstermiştir (sırasıyla p
