Urethral extrusion of distal shunt catheter

Abstract
An unusual shunt complication, urethral ex¬trusion of distal catheter is reported. Peritoneal catheter penetrated the bladder and extruded through the urethral orifice in the absence of abdominal and/or urogenital pa¬thology. Imaging studies are presented and predisposing factors are discussed.

Bu yazıda nadir bir şant komplikasyonu olan alt ucun üretradan sarkması bildirilmektedir. Herhangi bir abdominal ve urogenital patoloji olmadan peritoneal kateterin ucu mesaneyi delerek üretradan dışarıya çıkmıştır. Olgu radyolojik görüntüleriyle sunuldu ve yatkınlık yaratan unsurlar tartışıldı.
