Abstract
Works such as Battalnâme, Danişmendnâme, Müslümnâme and Saltuknâme which can be counted as the historical novels of our folk literature, are quite important materials since they paved the way for being spread and becoming popular of Turkishness and Islam in Anatolia and Rumelia. On the basis of history, politics, social and epic characteristics of the works cited above, the life style, the world view, the attitudes and the philosophy of a Turk can be inferenced.
Özet
Halk edebiyatımızın tarihî romanları sayılabilecek Battalnâme, Danişmendnâme, Müslümnâme ve Saltuknâme gibi eserler, Anadolu ve Rumeli'de Türklüğün ve Müslümanlığın yayılıp yerleşmesi bakımından oldukça önemli eserlerdir. Tarihî, siyasî, sosyal ve destanî özellikleri bakımından pek çok açıdan incelenebilecek bu eserlerde, Türk'ün yaşam biçimi, dünya görüşü, olaylara bakışı, felsefesi çıkarılabilir.
