Abstract

Safiye Sultanzâde Mehmed Rezmî is one of the poets of seventeenth century. The only known literary work of Rezmî is divan. In Divan, it is possible to find lots of traces concerning the details about himself and his environment, reflections of social life of his period. Rezmî had written his poems in clear and in unsophisticated Turkish. He had also used many of idioms and stereo-typed public expressions in his poems. In this article, the literary peculiarity of Remzi and about his Divan are focussed on.

Özet

Safiye Sultanzâde Mehmed Rezmî, 17. yüzyıl şairlerindendir. Rezmî’nin bilinen tek eseri divanıdır. Divanda, şairin kendisine, çevresine ve devrin sosyal hayatına dair pek çok ipucu bulmak mümkündür. Sade ve anlaşılır bir dille şiir yazan Rezmî, deyimleri ve kalıplaşmış halk söyleyişlerini de şiirlerinde sıkça kullanmıştır. Bu makalede, Rezmî’nin divanı ve edebî kişiliği hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.
