EPİGRAMLAR VE PASAJLAR SİLİNİRKEN DON QUIJOTE’U YENİDEN DÜŞÜNMEK: YENİ BİR ÇAĞ MI, ROMANIN ÖLÜMÜ MÜ?

Abstract

Don Quixote, as a text within the historical development of the novel, represents a meaningful beginning. Like all the rhetorical habits of the ancient ages, which are carried to enlightenment, Don Quixote, is a text from these ancient times in terms of the art of the novel. However, the modern era in which practical art concerns are organized with the Enlightenment does not accept Don Quixote with its technical features in the classical dimension in terms of novel theory. Modernism changes the novel by its consumption and aspiration forms. This article aims at a theoretical analysis in the context of literary thought for the post-modern era, focusing Don Quixote in this theoretical change story of the novel.

Romanın tarihi gelişimi içinde bir metin olarakDon Quijote, anlamlı bir başlangıcı temsil eder. Aydınlanmaya taşınan kadim çağların tüm retorik alışkanlıkları gibi roman sanatı bakımından Don Quijote de bueski çağlardan kalma bir metindir. Fakat Aydınlanmayla beraber pratik sanat endişelerinin örgütlendiğimodern çağ, Don Quijote’yi roman teorisi açısındanklasik boyutta kaldığı yer ve zaman dilimindeki tekniközellikleriyle kabullenmez. Modernizm, bütün tüketimve arzulama biçimleriyle romanı da değiştirir. Bu makale romanın bu teorik değişim öyküsünde Don Quijote’yi merkeze alarak modern sonrası çağ içinedebiyat düşüncesi bağlamında kuramsal bir analiz hedeflemektedir.
