Abstract
It is seen that possessive suffixes in Kirghiz Turkish are directly added to third person pronoun and demonstrative pronouns. Thus, it is indicated clearly that the person or the things represented with pronoun belong to which person (anıñ: he/she/it that belongs to you, yours; anısı: he/she/it that belongs to her/him/it, hers, his or its; munuñ: this which belongs to you, yours). As it is known, the second singular person possessive suffix is added to the stem of words ended with a consonant in the form of +(I)ñ / +(U)ñ in General Turkish. This kind of possessive suffix is the same with the genitive case which is added to pronouns. In the Turkish written languages in which the nasal consonant (ñ) is not used (Turkey Turkish, Azerbaijan Turkish, Gagauzian Turkish) both suffixes are used as +(I)n / +(U)n under the same conditions. In the same way, there is a form similarity (+I / +U) between the usage of third person possessive suffix and accusative suffix with personal and demonstrative pronouns. Therefore, it cannot be exactly understood if possessive suffixes are used with personal and demonstrative pronouns. However, the nasal /n/ (ñ) which is used with second person is not used in genitive case in the Kirghiz written language. In other words, the last sound of genitive case is not nasal consonant, but prepalatal /n/. In this regard, the recognition of these suffixes in Kirghiz Turkish is easier. The pronoun examples with possessive suffix which are detected in Kirghiz Turkish will contribute to better understanding and explanation of the similar forms seen in the other Turkish dialects and particularly in historical texts.
Özet
Kırgız Türkçesinde iyelik eklerinin doğrudan üçüncü şahıs zamirine ve işaret zamirlerine eklendiği görülmektedir. Böylece zamirle temsil edilen kişi ya da varlıkların hangi şahsa ait olduğu ifade edilmektedir (anıñ: sana ait olan o, seninki; anısı: ona ait olan o, onunki; munuñ: sana ait olan bu, seninki). Bilindiği gibi Genel Türkçede ikinci teklik şahıs iyelik eki, ünsüzle biten tabanlara +(I)ñ / +(U)ñ biçimiyle eklenir. İyelik eki bu biçimiyle ilgi hâli ekinin zamirlere eklenen şekliyle aynıdır. Geniz ünsüzünün (ñ) kullanılmadığı Türk yazı dillerinde (Türkiye Türkçesi, Azerbaycan Türkçesi, Gagavuz Türkçesi gibi) her iki ek, aynı koşullarda +In / +Un biçimiyle kullanılmaktadır.
